# Google Drive

> Let TiDani read files you choose from your Google Drive when it answers questions. Read-only, and you can disconnect at any time.

You can let TiDani read chosen files from your Google Drive when it answers questions. TiDani only has read access: it cannot change or delete your Drive files.

## Connect

1. Open **Knowledge**, then **Google Drive**.
2. Press the button to connect. Your browser opens so you can sign in to Google and approve.
3. Come back to TiDani. It shows that Google Drive is connected as your Google address.

If we did not see the connection finish, try connecting again.

## Choose files

1. In **Google Drive**, use **Add files** and search your Drive files.
2. Pick the files TiDani may read. Only these are used.
3. In the desktop app, open **This computer** and choose **Sync now** to bring them in straight away. Otherwise they are checked every few minutes.

Drive files pass through TiDani's servers on their way to your computer. They are not stored there. They are read and indexed on your computer, like your own files.

## Remove a file or disconnect

- Press **Remove** next to a file to stop sharing it.
- Choose **Disconnect Google Drive** to stop TiDani reading your Drive files. Your files in Drive are not touched.

> **Stored for the connection:** TiDani keeps an encrypted sign-in token and your Google email address, and the names of files you chose, encrypted.
