Stop sharing a folder

Remove a folder or file from what this computer shares. Nothing is deleted from your computer.

You can stop sharing at any time. Nothing is deleted from your computer. Answers just stop using those files.

Steps

  1. Open Knowledge, then This computer.
  2. Find the folder or file in the shared list.
  3. Press Remove next to it, and confirm.

TiDani stops searching it right away.

Stop sharing the whole computer

Remove everything from the shared list, or ask an admin to remove the computer under Workspace, Computers. Its files stay on the computer.

What stays behind

Answers already given stay in people’s conversation history, including the names of the files they cited. Anyone who wants an old conversation gone can delete it, which removes it permanently.
