Using TiDani

Voice questions

Speak your question instead of typing it. TiDani turns it into text for you to check before you send.

Updated 4 November 2026

You can speak your question instead of typing it. Nothing is sent until you have read it and pressed send.

Steps

  1. Open Ask and press the microphone button.
  2. Allow microphone use if your computer or browser asks.
  3. Speak your question. A recording stops by itself after one minute.
  4. Wait while TiDani turns your recording into text.
  5. Read the text in the question box, fix anything that was misheard, and press send.

If it does not work

  • “TiDani can’t use your microphone.” Allow it in your browser’s or system’s settings, then try again.
  • “Nothing was heard.” Try again, a little closer to the microphone.
  • Too long or took too long. Try a shorter recording.
  • “Voice isn’t available right now.” Type your question instead.

The microphone button only shows where your browser or app can record.

Your recording

Your recording is turned into text by speech software that TiDani runs on its own hardware. It is not saved. Only the text comes back. See how we handle data.
